introducing Smithsons T.E.A.Ms
Integrating DEIB into the fabric of Smithsons has been our center since our inception. In 2020, Smithsons leadership made an impactful decision; to open up our ERG network to include our contingent workers. This allows support to extend to those who trust us to find them meaningful employment, even if it's temporary.
Our action towards change
Women leaders are switching jobs at the highest rates we’ve ever seen, and ambitious young women are prepared to do the same. To make meaningful and sustainable progress toward gender equality, companies need to go beyond table stakes.
It's a well-known fact that the Hispanic population is younger than the U.S. population overall and Hispanics are the youngest major ethnic group in the country. Yet surprisingly, Hispanics represent only 9.5 percent of entry-level positions.
